Chain pulling is permissible only in case of emergency such as fire in the train, accident, medical emergency or an elderly person or a child missing the train. If you have got a middle berth while traveling in the train, then know that you can use it only between 10 pm to 8 am.
While traveling in the train, TTE cannot demand a ticket from any passenger after 10 o’clock. Tickets can be checked again only after 6 am.
It is strictly prohibited to talk loudly or listen to music while traveling in a train between 10 pm to 6 am. If you do this, action may be taken against you.
Packaged food items cannot be sold more than MRP in trains. By doing this you can lodge a complaint with the Railways. In such a case, Railways can take strict action against such vendor and can even cancel his license.
