According to Indigo, in the first phase of flight operation of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, which is almost completed in Ayodhya, flights will start from Ayodhya to Delhi and Ahmedabad. The company will start its commercial flight service for Ayodhya from January 6.

After this, direct flights will start operating between Delhi and Ayodhya from January 6, 2024 next year and immediately after that, flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya will start operating three days a week from January 11, 2024. On January 6, the first commercial flight will take off from Delhi at 11.55 am and reach Ayodhya at 1.15 pm. This flight will leave Ayodhya at 1.45 pm and reach Delhi at 3 pm. Currently, the fare from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 6 in Indigo Airlines is Rs 7,799.
