Apart from this, you can keep Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Identity Card and other important documents, which you may need anywhere, in DigiLocker. You can also complete your work by showing them. However, there is one thing where your DigiLocker documents do not work.
Where will DigiLocker not work?
If you want to update your Aadhar card or get a new Aadhar card made, then you will have to go to the Aadhar Seva Kendra and also take the physical documents (original papers) there. You cannot make your Aadhar card on the basis of the documents kept in DigiLocker.
Why is it not used?
At the Aadhaar Seva Kendra located in Sector 19 in Noida, adjacent to Delhi, a customer named Rajkumar Pandey told News18 Hindi how a customer service officer at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra asked him to bring physical documents for Aadhaar update. Rajkumar says that he was asked to bring the original documents because all the information is fed at the Aadhaar center only by physically scanning those documents. - First of all go to DigiLocker website.
- After this click on the sign up button.
- Fill the form with the required information and submit it.
- Now verify your mobile number through OTP.
- After this set the username and submit.
- Your registration will be completed.
