Travel will become cheaper by Rs 300 to Rs 1000
After this decision of the airlines, now Indigo flight travel will become cheaper for passengers by Rs 300 to Rs 1000. Till now the ratio of distance and rate was something like this-
- Rs 300 for journey less than 500 km
- Rs 400 for distance between 510 and 1,000 km
- Rs 550 for journeys between 1,001 and 1,500 km
- Rs 650 for journeys between 1,501 and 2,500 km
- Rs 800 for journeys between 2,501 and 3,500 km
- Rs 1,000 for travel more than 3,501 km

Last year, this decision was taken by the airlines to impose fuel charge in October to reduce the loss caused by the rising prices of ATF. The price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has come down on January 1, 2024. The price of ATF has come down from Rs 1.06 lakh per liter to Rs 1.01 lakh per liter. Therefore, the company has decided to remove this fuel charge from the fare.
