Actually, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has started a new facility keeping in mind the interest of its customers. It is named “Pure for Sure”. According to the company, its objective is to increase customer satisfaction.
The company said that BPCL is ready to provide assurance of quality and quantity of LPG cylinders directly at the customer’s doorstep. This is the first service of its kind in the country. According to the company, the LPG cylinder that will be delivered to the customer’s home will have a tamper-proof seal, on which the QR code will also be visible. Through this, the cylinder will be guaranteed from the production plant to the customer.
QR code will have to be scanned
On scanning the QR code, customers will see an exclusive Pure for Sure pop-up with a signature tune. All the details related to the cylinder will be available in this pop-up. For example, what was the total weight of the cylinder at the time of filling, whether there was a seal mark or not etc. This empowers customers to authenticate their cylinders before accepting delivery, ensuring transparency and trust. If there is any tampering with the cylinder seal, the QR code becomes no longer scannable, thereby stopping the delivery.
What the company official said: BPCL official said – There are some old issues in the LPG ecosystem like theft in transit, customer presence at the expected delivery time and choosing one’s own time for refill delivery, which can be resolved. For our distributors, it provides services like AI based route optimizer, which will increase its delivery efficiency. We also intend to include deliverywomen in the LPG ecosystem, as no one understands this product better than women.
