Delhi AIIMS Payment Rules: AIIMS in collaboration with State Bank of India has launched smart cards to provide payment facilities to patients. Through this, patients will be able to pay for everything from canteen to OPD and lab tests. Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya along with AIIMS Director Dr. M Srinivas and SBI MD Manjeet Singh released the ‘AIIMS Smart Card’ on Monday. Top up centers will be available at various places in AIIMS to provide smart cards to patients and attendants and recharge them.
After the facility of smart card, cash will not be taken in AIIMS. This card will work 24 hours. Payment will also be made in AIIMS through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the AIIMS-SBI Smart Payment Card will solve the problem of patients carrying cash from remote areas and will guarantee secure payments.
Releasing the AIIMS-SBI smart payment card at Delhi AIIMS on Monday, Mandaviya said that this is a big relief for the patients and their relatives. AIIMS Smart Payment Card services will be extended to all 22 AIIMS in the near future. AIIMS Smart Payment Card will solve the problem of patients from remote areas carrying cash to the hospital.
Patients or their relatives can easily obtain the card from the convenience centers of AIIMS Delhi. After that you can use it for payment at various counters. The Digital India initiative has ushered in a new era of simplicity and security. In case of any urgent need for payment for a patient undergoing treatment at AIIMS, one can now easily and quickly transfer funds from across the country.
