Light fog was seen in most parts of Delhi on Thursday morning. As the day progressed, the fog cleared and the sun came out. The day’s maximum temperature was recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung at 26 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees above normal. Whereas, the minimum temperature was 8.8 degrees Celsius. This is also two degrees more than normal. The humidity level ranged from 100 to 34 percent.

The people of Delhi do not seem to be getting any respite from the polluted air. According to CPCB, Delhi’s average air quality index on Thursday remained in the poor category with 279 points. However, there were 13 areas of Delhi where AQI remained above 300 i.e. in very poor category.
Let us tell you that, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, between 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, between 101 and 200 “moderate”, between 201 and 300 “poor”, between 301 and 400 “very”. “Poor” and between 401 and 500 are considered “Severe”.
