EPFO account holder can update his bank details in his EPF account right from the comfort of his home. For this the EPF account holder does not need to go to the EPFO office. This service has been provided online by EPFO. This also makes people feel comfortable. To use this facility, the account holder has to be issued by EPFO. Must have UAN number.

How to update bank details in EPFO account
- Account holders should visit EPFO website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in and login.
- After this, go to Manage option in the menu on the open page.
- After this go to KYC option from the drop down.
- After this, select Bank in the document type option.
- When the menu opens, fill the account details like account number, IFSC code and click on the save button.
- After saving, you will be able to see the details in KYC Pending Approval option.
- After this you can also give the document proof to your officer.
- After document verification by your company officer, you can see the digitally approved KYC option. This message will also be received on your mobile.
Generate UAN number like this
- Account holders click on https://unifiedportalmem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
- After this you have to click on ‘Know your UAN’ on your UAN portal.
- After this select your state and EPFO office.
- Then the menu that will open will include PF number, member ID and other details like mobile number, date of birth, captcha code, PF number or member ID given in the salary slip.
- Finally you will have to click on Get Authorization Pin and the UN number will appear in front of you.
