SSC Photo Uploading App: Staff Selection Commission has changed the rule of photo uploading in all recruitment examinations. After which now the candidates will not have to get a new photograph made for every recruitment examination. Besides, this step of SSC will also put a stop to rigging in recruitment examinations.
SSC New Photo Uploading App: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has launched an app for mandatory live photo uploading for online applications. The Commission has taken this step after receiving complaints of difficulty in uploading photos in Selection Post-12. The app named ‘MY SSC’ can be downloaded by visiting Google Play Store.
Decision was also taken to stop fraud
SSC has decided to upload live photos to prevent fraud by editing photos in recruitment examinations. To upload a live photo, it is necessary to have a well-lit place and a plain background. Candidates will not have to wear cap, mask or glasses while taking live photo. If any candidate does not follow the guidelines of live photo, his form will be rejected.
Earlier this was the rule for uploading photos
Earlier the rule was that the photo should not be of three months before the release of recruitment notification. However, the Commission had no mechanism to find out how many months ago the photo was taken. With the live photo uploading rule of SSC, candidates will now be freed from getting photos made again and again. Whenever they have to apply, candidates will be able to go to ‘My SSC’ app and upload their live photo.
