Vande Bharat Express Fare: Fares for Vande Bharat Express running between Dehradun and Lucknow released, check here

Vande Bharat Express has released the fare for Vande Bharat Express running between Dehradun and Lucknow from 26th March. Vande Bharat fares are lower than Volvo buses plying on this route. Chair car fare from Dehradun to Haridwar is Rs 540, which includes food of Rs 142. Whereas the fare for executive class is Rs 955.

Vande Bharat Express: Railways has released the fare for Vande Bharat Express running between Dehradun and Lucknow from March 26. Chair car fare from Dehradun to Lucknow will be Rs 1,480, which includes food of Rs 323. While the executive class fare is Rs 2,715, it also includes food cost of Rs 384.

Chair car fare from Dehradun to Haridwar is Rs 540, which includes food of Rs 142. Whereas the fare for executive class is Rs 955. The chair car fare from Dehradun to Moradabad is Rs 715, of which Rs 101 will be for food. Whereas the fare for executive class is Rs 1,370.

Fare is less than Volvo bus

Chair car fare from Dehradun to Bareilly is Rs 860, which includes food of Rs 101. Whereas the fare for executive class is Rs 1,660.

Vande Bharat fares are lower than Volvo buses plying on this route. This train will reach Lucknow from Dehradun in eight hours 15 minutes. Whereas the bus reaches Lucknow in 11 to 12 hours. Doon-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will run on all days of the week except Monday. This train will leave from Dehradun at 2:25 pm and will reach Lucknow at 10:40 pm.

Dehradun-Saharanpur rail line survey report will come in June

Railways is busy preparing to run a direct train between Dehradun and Saharanpur. Survey work of Dehradun-Saharanpur rail line is going on. The survey company will submit the report to the Railway Board in June. After this, after the approval of the board, the work on Dehradun-Saharanpur rail line will start. This railway line will be about 90 km long. After its construction, it will be possible to reach Saharanpur from Dehradun in one and a half hours.

Divisional Railway Manager of Moradabad Division Rajkumar Singh reached Dehradun Railway Station on Saturday. Here he inaugurated the hotel built on railway land by Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). The Railways has leased the hotel to Le Roi Company.

The company will operate the hotel for the next 40 years. Facilities like restaurant etc. are available in the hotel. DRM Rajkumar Singh said that Railways is paying special attention to the facilities of passengers. Soon passenger sheds will be installed on platform number three. Talks are going on with the Forest Department to increase the speed of the train between Haridwar-Dehradun.

Discussions are going on to lay double line between Dehradun-Haridwar. During this, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sudhir Singh, RLDA General Manager Mohit Kumar, Joint General Manager OP Deshwal, Senior Divisional Engineer Anupam Chahar, Chief Commercial Inspector SK Aggarwal, Station Superintendent in-charge Vipul Nautiyal etc. were present.

Survey of Gangotri-Yamunotri railway route in progress

The survey work of Gangotri-Yamunotri railway route is going on. Divisional Railway Manager Rajkumar Singh told in the survey where stations, bridges and tunnels will be built. These places will be selected. Information about where the Railways will require land and what kind of difficulties will be faced in the construction work will be given in the survey report. After completion of the survey, Railways will invite tender for the construction work.

Train may soon run between Doon and Ayodhya

Trains may soon operate between Dehradun and Ayodhya. As of now there is no train from Doon to Ayodhya. Divisional Railway Manager Rajkumar Singh said that demand is coming to run other trains from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Many routes have been discussed, but no decision has been taken yet.
