SSC JE Registration 2024: If you are looking for a government job and are also preparing, then this news is useful for you. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the registration process for Junior Engineer Recruitment Examination 2024 for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering posts. Let us tell you that the Commission has announced to fill about 968 vacancies under various departments through this recruitment. This notification of SSC JE is also available on the official website ssc.gov.in.
Will get salary more than 1 lakh
As per the schedule, SSC JE Paper 1 will be conducted from June 4 to June 6. The posts are Group B Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The salary package will be as per the pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission. Candidates who have been offered the job will get a salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
All interested candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process on ssc.gov.in as OTR done on the old website will not be considered valid. While filling the SSC JE application form, candidates have to upload the scanned signature in JPEG format with file size between 10 to 20 KB. As prescribed by the Commission, the dimensions of the signature image should be approximately 4 cm in width and 2 cm in height.
Application fee
Applicants for this recruitment will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100, however, women, SC, ST, PWD and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying any fee. SSC has fixed the age calculation as August 1, 2024 and has announced age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
ssc je exam pattern
SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of two papers. Candidates will get 2 hours to solve the question paper and PWD category people will get additional 40 minutes.
Paper 1- 50 marks questions will be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning, along with 50 marks questions will also be asked from General Awareness.
Apart from this, questions of 100 marks will be asked from Part-A: General Engineering (Civil and Structural) or Part-B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part-C: General Engineering (Mechanical).
Whereas, in Paper 2, 100 questions of 300 marks will be asked, out of which questions will come from Part-A: General Engineering (Civil and Structural) or Part-B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part-C: General Engineering (Mechanical).
