IMD Rainfall Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of drizzle in Delhi today i.e. on 27th April. There may be an increase in the temperature of the national capital from April 28 and the mercury may once again reach 40 degrees on April 29.
IMD Rainfall Alert: The mercury was recorded at 41 degrees Celsius in Delhi on Friday, due to which people had to face the scorching heat. However, the rain in the evening gave some relief to the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of drizzle in Delhi today i.e. on 27th April also. There may be an increase in the temperature of the national capital from April 28 and the mercury may once again reach 40 degrees on April 29.
How will be the temperature of Delhi?
According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 37 to 40 degrees Celsius this entire week. The minimum temperature is likely to be between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department says that strong winds will continue in Delhi this whole week.
Heat wave alert in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, a heat wave alert has been issued in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha for the next five days.
Warning of rain and snowfall in these states
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snowfall with lightning and hailstorm is possible in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh between April 26 and 28. Sporadic rain and snowfall is possible in Uttarakhand between April 26 and 28.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour along with rain and thunder in Punjab between April 26 and 28. There may be strong winds along with rain and Bundeli phenomenon in Haryana on 26 and 27 April and in Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh on 26 and 27 April.
Scattered rain and thunder is possible in isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, South-East Rajasthan and East Gujarat and Delhi. Whereas in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, light rain is possible at 1 or 2 places. Light to moderate rain or snowfall is possible in Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain is possible in Northeast India and Sikkim.
