Summer Vacation In Schools: In view of the heat and heatwave, summer vacation has been announced in all private and government schools in Puducherry from April 29. Schools will open on 6th June.
School Summer holidays: Heat has started showing its severe form in many states across the country. In view of the heat and heatwave, summer holidays have been announced in all private and government schools in Puducherry. According to the School Education Department, all government and private schools in Puducherry will remain closed from April 29 to June 5. All schools will reopen from June 6.
The Education Department of Puducherry issued an order saying that in view of the extreme heat and heat wave alert in the state, holidays are declared in all government and private schools from April 29. Schools will reopen from June 6.
UP school timings changed from Monday
Under the order, from April 29, the timing of all government and private schools of UP has been changed from 07:30 am to 1 pm. The timing of madrassas has also been changed. Now it will open from 07:00 am to 12:30 noon. Till further orders, schools will be operated from 7:30 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon. Leave on April 27 has been approved for those teachers, officers and employees who were on election duty, all other teachers and employees will have to work in the school. BLO will also be on leave.
School timings changed in Darbhanga also
The timing of government and private schools running in Darbhanga, Bihar has also been changed. DM Rajeev Roshan has issued an order in this regard. Under this, teaching and learning in government schools will be conducted between 8 am to 10 am as per pre-determined departmental instructions. Whereas mid-day meal will be served between 10 am and 10:30 am. The private school will operate only till 11 am.
Holiday declared in AMU also
Summer vacation has also been announced in Aligarh Muslim University. Under this, there will be summer holidays in AMU and its related institutions and Malappuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj centers from June 16 to July 30. In AMU related schools, there will be summer holidays from June 16 to July 15, in the Faculty of Medicine from May 18 to June 23 and June 25. From 14th June to 31st July, MBBS students will have holiday from 14th June to 23rd June.
Holiday for BDS first year, second year and third year students from 1st June to 20th June, holiday for BDS final year students from 21st June to 30th June, holiday for students in paramedical courses from 21st June to 10th July, in Nursing Colleges From June 27 to July 6, the first slot in the Faculty of Unani Medicine will be open from June 3 to July 6 and from July 8 to August 9 and students’ vacation will be from June 3 to June 20.
