According to the School Education Department, all government and private schools in Puducherry will remain closed from April 29 to June 5. All schools will reopen from June 6. Due to summer many schools have changed their time table. Summer vacation will also start in most of the schools of UP on May 13.
List of school holidays in Delhi
Government and private schools in Delhi will remain closed on these dates as part of the official holidays from April to December.

2 October: Gandhi Jayanti (national holiday)

The winter break of schools will start from January 1, 2025 and end on January 15, 2025.
UP school timings changed
Summer vacation will start in most of the schools of UP from 13th and 15th May. Many schools have also changed the school time table due to the heat. From April 29, timings of all government and private schools of UP have been changed from 7:30 am to 1 pm. Timings of madrassas have also been changed. Now these will open from 7:00 am to 12:30 noon.
School timings changed in Bihar
School timings have been changed in most cities of Bihar due to summer. It will be from 8 am to 10 am in government and private schools. After that food will be served. Private schools will operate only till 11 o’clock.
There will be holiday in AMU also
Summer vacation has also been announced in Aligarh Muslim University. There will be summer vacations in AMU and its affiliated institutions Malappuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj Center from June 16 to July 30. There will be holidays in AMU affiliated schools from June 16 to July 15.
