Summer vacation has also been announced in Haryana, under this, there will be summer vacation in schools from 01 to 30 June. Rajasthan Education Department has ordered to keep all the schools closed till 30 June.
School Holiday 2024: Due to the scorching heat and heat wave, the Haryana Directorate of School Education has announced a change in the timings along with the summer vacation for the government and private schools of the state. In this regard, the Directorate of Education has informed the District Education Officers, District Basic Education Officers. Orders have been issued to the Director, SCERT, Gurugram and all officers have been asked to comply with the same.
School timings changed, summer vacation also declared
Under the order of the department, the summer vacation time period in all the schools of the state will be from June 1 to June 30, 2024, now the schools will be opened from July 1. The Directorate of Education has also changed the school timings for both the shifts of students from May 18 to May 31. According to the newly issued orders, from May 18, the timings for single shift schools will be from 7 am to 12 noon and for double shift schools, the timings will be from 7 am to 11:30 am and from 11:45 am to 4:15 pm.

- Summer vacation has also been announced in Haryana, under this there will be summer vacation in schools from 01 to 30 June.
- Rajasthan Education Department has ordered all schools to remain closed from May 17 to June 30, 2024.
- Summer vacation has been announced from May 21 to June 7 in all categories of government schools running in Jharkhand. Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training has issued a revised order in this regard.
- Summer holidays have been declared in all government schools in the state of Punjab from June 1 to June 30. Action will be taken against schools violating the rules.
- There will be summer holidays in the schools of Basic Education Council of Uttar Pradesh from 18th May to 18th June. Due to Sunday 16th June and Eid ul-Zuha i.e. Bakrid on 17th June, schools will open on 18th June. This time schools will remain closed for 32 days.
- Summer vacations for primary and upper-primary classes in UP government schools will start from May 20. There will be summer vacation in the council schools of Aligarh from 20th May to 15th June.
