Heatwave Alert: Red alert of heatwave again for 5 days in these 5 states, know the weather condition

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no possibility of respite from the heat in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP for the next 5 days. IMD has issued ‘red alert’ for Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and parts of West Uttar Pradesh for the next five days.

Most of the states of North India are in the grip of severe heat wave these days. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no possibility of respite from the heat in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP for the next 5 days. IMD has issued ‘red alert’ for Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and parts of West Uttar Pradesh for the next five days. The Meteorological Department has said that in many districts of these states the maximum day temperature may cross the level of 47 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologist gave information

Naresh Kumar, senior scientist at IMD, said, “Currently the temperatures are above normal across northwest India and we had issued a red alert for the region in the last 2-3 days. With regard to the state-wise forecast, we have issued a red alert for the next five days. A red alert has been issued in Rajasthan during this period. The maximum temperature is likely to rise from 45 degrees Celsius to 47 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists say that due to the western disturbance prevalent in Punjab and Haryana, a slight drop in the maximum temperature has been recorded, but after this it will gradually increase by 2 to 3 degrees. At the same time, ‘Red Alert’ has already been issued for these two states. Apart from this, red alert has been issued for the next five days in Uttar Pradesh and orange alert for northern parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Delhi’s climate

The heat in Delhi is such that it seems as if the sky is on fire. According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, there has been a slight change in the wind pattern in and around the capital. There is an east-west trough, which is dry. This trough is running from northern Rajasthan to south-western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi, due to which Delhi-NCR is experiencing severe heat.
