Jammu Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service: There is great news for the devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi. Pilgrims will be given special facility of helicopter service from Jammu to Mata Vaishnodevi. To provide quick facility to the pilgrims wishing to have special darshan, the Shrine Board will start Sanjhi Chhat helicopter service from Jammu from June 18, 2024. Two packages have been offered for this by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Chief Executive Officer Anshul Garg said that SMVDSB is starting Jammu to Sanjhi Chhat helicopter service for those pilgrims who want to visit in one day.
2 packages for helicopter facility from Shrine Board
According to news agency ANI, the Shrine Board will offer two types of packages for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi – the first is Same Day Return and the second is Next Day Return. Devotees of Maa will have to spend Rs 35,000 per person for the ‘Same Day Return’ (SDR) package. At the same time, the second package ‘Next Day Return’ (NDR) will cost devotees Rs 50,000 per person.
What is in Same Day Return and Next Day Return Package?
Sharing details in this regard, officials have said that in the SDR i.e. Same Day Return Package, pilgrims will be provided with battery car service to the building on reaching Panchi helipad, a special darshan slip, ‘prasad’, priority ticket for cable car to pray at Bhairon temple. Car service on return to reach Panchi helipad, and helicopter ride to Jammu airport will be provided.
Shrine board officials further said that the NDR i.e. Next Day Return package includes all SDR facilities in addition to the rooms in the Bhawan and ‘Atka Aarti’. Notably, the helicopter service is currently available only between Katra and Sanjhi Chhat, with a one-way fare of Rs 2100 per person.
