Decision for DDC this month
HMRTC director Chandrashekhar Khare said that first of all the detail design contract (DDC) agreement will be signed for metro construction in old Gurugram. Under this, a company will be appointed, which will decide where the metro stations will be built.
Will the pillar be built in the middle of the road or on the side, that is, the company has to do all the formalities from metro track construction to station design and track design. He said that tenders have been called for this. Interested companies can participate in it till Thursday.
The company participating in the tender will be contracted and the work will be handed over to it. That company will decide where the stations will be built. How many houses and shops will have to be demolished for station or track construction. Along with this, a technical consultant will also be appointed. Tenders have been called for this till June 27. Currently work is being done on prepaid consultancy.
