Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: The work of the fourth phase of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is almost complete.
This expressway is going to be Asia’s longest wildlife corridor. For which a 12 km long elevated flyover is being built at this time.
According to NHAI, the project will be completed by June 30. The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway will connect Delhi to Dehradun via Saharanpur, Baghpat, Baraut and Shamli.
Number of Lanes: At the same time, the number of lanes in this expressway is six, but it can be increased to eight.
Travel Time: Due to this expressway, the travel time of people coming from Delhi to Dehradun will be reduced from 6.5 hours to 2.5 hours.
Distance: With this, the distance will be reduced from 235 km to 213 km.
May 2025: A part of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is expected to be operational in July this year. The construction of the entire highway is expected to be completed by May 2025.
Expenditure: According to media reports, about Rs 13,000 crore is likely to be spent on this project.
