PM Kisan Yojana 17th Installment: The wait of crores of farmers of the country is over. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 17th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on June 18.
New Delhi. A big update has come regarding the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 17th installment of PM-Kisan Yojana worth more than Rs 20,000 crore for 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers across the country during his visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on June 18.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “Agriculture has always been the priority of Prime Minister Modi in the last 2 terms. He took many important decisions in the interest of farmers. After taking oath as Prime Minister, Modi ji first signed the file related to the release of the 17th installment of PM-Kisan Yojana.”
So far, an amount of more than Rs 3.04 lakh crore has been distributed to farmers
Chouhan said that since the launch of the scheme, the Center has distributed an amount of more than Rs 3.04 lakh crore to more than 11 crore farmers across the country. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and various ministers of the state may attend the program to be held in Varanasi.
6 thousand rupees are given every year
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government gives 6 thousand rupees to the farmers every year. This amount is given in 3 installments. The assistance amount is deposited directly into the bank accounts of the farmers. The amount of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is given to either the husband or the wife.
