Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains: A big news has come for the passengers. After running Vande Bharat on many routes across the country, now the Railway Ministry is focusing specifically on Vande Bharat Sleeper Train.
Indian Railways is set to start Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains in the next two months and these trains are expected to be brought on the tracks for trial runs by August 15.

Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are expected to be much better than Rajdhani Express trains and Tejas Express trains, and will also be faster than Shatabdi Express trains.
According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Indian Railways can start the trial of Vande Bharat train in the next two months and after the completion of the trial, the operation of this train can be started after six months. At present all the technical work is in the final stage. The trainset has been manufactured by BEML Limited at its rail unit in Bengaluru.
Along with this, he said that Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is being built on the lines of Rajdhani, in which all facilities will be provided to the passengers. There is a plan to run more than 250 Vande Bharat Sleeper trains across the country by the year 2029. These trains are expected to come on the tracks for trial run by August 15.
Vande Bharat Sleeper train will run on these routes
According to media reports, the first Vande Bharat Sleeper train can be run on Delhi-Mumbai or Delhi-Kolkata route.
The coaches of this train are being manufactured with 100% indigenous technology under the Self-reliant India campaign. This train will have a total of 16 coaches. It will have 11 third AC, 4 coaches second AC and 1 coach first AC.
This will be the specialty of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train
There will be sensor-based intercom doors and insulation to create a quiet cabin environment and apart from other features, it will have automatic external passenger doors, special berths for disabled passengers and toilet facilities.
The train will run at this speed
Vande Bharat Sleeper will run at a speed of up to 160 kmph, and will be tested at a speed of up to 180 kmph. Many facilities will be provided to the passengers in the train.
There will be overhead lighting above the seat, sensor-based lighting in common areas and night lighting by floor strips to improve corridor movement. In terms of facilities, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will be more luxurious than Rajdhani Express trains.
The berths of this train will have additional cushioning, which will be more than Rajdhani Express trains, ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
How much is the fare of Vande Bharat?
Let us tell you that the fare of these trains has not been decided yet, although this train will be equipped with high facilities in India, so it is believed that its fare can be 10 to 15 percent higher than the fare of trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi. The average speed of Vande Bharat train equipped with SPE technology is expected to be better. This will make the train reach the destination three hours before time.
