1 July Ka Mausam: By the end of June, the southwest monsoon has covered most parts of the country. However, some parts of a couple of states including Haryana are still waiting for rain. It is a matter of relief that here too, there is a possibility of rapid progress of monsoon in 2-3 days. Apart from this, the first week of July is going to bring good rain. By July 4, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan.
IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has informed on Sunday night that light to moderate rain is expected in Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat during the next five days. There may be rain in Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema, Telangana, North and South Interior Karnataka.
There will be heavy rain
There are chances of heavy rain on 3 and 4 July in Punjab, 1-3 July in Delhi, 4 July in Haryana-Chandigarh, 3-4 July in Himachal Pradesh, 2-5 July in East Rajasthan, 4 July in West Madhya Pradesh, 3-4 July in East Madhya Pradesh, 3 July in Gangetic West Bengal, till 3 July in Jharkhand, 3-4 July in Bihar, 5 July in Chhattisgarh.
Also, there may be heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh till July 2, Uttarakhand till July 5, Punjab on July 1-2, Haryana-Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh till July 3, East Rajasthan on July 1. Also, there are chances of heavy rains in the entire northeastern states.
Heavy rain will occur in Bihar
Monsoon has become active in entire Bihar. On Monday and Tuesday, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder in most of the cities of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert in West Champaran, East Champaran, Kishanganj, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria on Monday. Light to moderate rain is expected in other parts of the state.
