UPSC has released the form for these candidates, it is necessary to fill it by July 12

upsc.gov.in: Candidates who have passed the UPSC prelims exam are now eligible to apply for it.

Union Public Service Commission: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for Civil Services Main Examination 2024. If you have passed the preliminary examination, then you can fill the Detail Application Form-1 (DAF-1) for the main examination. The last date to apply is 12 July 2024. To apply, you have to visit the official website of UPSC UPSC website.

The official notice by UPSC said that, it may be noted that as per the rules of Civil Services Examination-2024, any delay in submission of DAF-1 or supporting documents beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and the candidature for CSE-2024 will be cancelled.

UPSC CSE DAF- 1 2024: HOW TO APPLY

Visit the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) upsc.gov.in.

Click on the link of UPSC CSE 2024 DAF 1.

Click on the name of the exam and register yourself.

Fill in the required details and upload the required documents to complete the application form.

Proceed to pay the application fee.

Submit the application form and save it for future reference.

UPSC CSE DAF 2024: APPLICATION FEE

The application fee for the Civil Services Main Exam is Rs 200. However, women and candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) categories are not required to pay the application fee.

The UPSC Mains exam is conducted in the form of a written exam consisting of nine essay-style papers based on the subjects mentioned in the advertisement. Two of these papers are of qualifying nature. The written section of the main exam is of a total of 1750 marks. Candidates securing the minimum required marks in the written exam will then be called for an interview or personal interview, which has a weightage of 275 marks. For the final ranking, the marks of the candidates in the required written exam papers (Paper I to VII) and interview will be taken into account.
