The process of making a passport takes about 30 to 40 days.
For online application for passport, visit the passport service website www.passportindia.gov.in.
Click on New User Registration. After registering, fill in your name, date of birth, email ID, etc. and click on register.
After filling in all the details, you will have to pay the passport fee which can be paid online or offline.
Book an appointment by clicking on the appointment link. At the time of appointment, you will have to go to the passport office and submit the documents.
