School Holiday: Good news for students, schools will remain closed for these many more days, holiday declared

The administration of Varanasi district has decided to keep all schools closed on Monday during the month of Sawan, instead the schools will be opened on Sunday.

School Holiday 2024: In view of heavy rains, Nagpur, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have declared holiday in schools and pre-university colleges today on Saturday 20th July. In Wayanad too, all the educational institutions in the district remained closed on Saturday. 21st July is Sunday, so now schools will open on Monday. In UP’s Badaun district, apart from Saturday, holiday has been declared on Monday as well and now schools will open on Tuesday.

In Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, holiday has been declared in schools from Saturday to Monday due to Kanwar Yatra. School students from class 1 to 8 will get the benefit of this. On the instructions of DM, District Basic Education Officer Virendra Kumar Singh has given instructions to keep the schools from class one to eight run under the Basic Education Department closed. All council recognized, aided and primary and upper primary schools will remain closed every Saturday and Monday in the month of Shravan.

Apart from this, the administration of Varanasi district has decided to keep all schools closed on Monday in the month of Sawan, instead schools will be opened on Sunday. This decision has been taken due to the crowd in Kashi Vishwanath Dham temple. Last year also the Varanasi administration had decided to keep the school closed on Monday.

This many days holiday will be available in July and August

27th July is the fourth Saturday, so schools will remain closed in many states. Schools will remain closed on 21st and 28th due to Sunday. Apart from this, schools will remain closed on 04th, 11th, 18th and 25th August due to Sunday.

07th August Hariyali Teej, 10th August second Saturday, 15th August Independence Day, 16th August (Friday) compensatory declared holiday, 19th August, (Monday) Rakshabandhan, 26th August: (Monday) Janmashtami will be a holiday.
