Henley Passport Index has released its latest list of the most powerful passports. Singapore has topped the list. India has performed a little disappointingly since last time.
The latest list of the world’s most powerful passports has been released. Singapore has topped the Henley Passport Index 2024 released on Tuesday. Singapore’s passport is the world’s strongest passport, whose citizens can travel visa-free to 195 out of 227 destinations in the world.
What is India’s ranking
India is ranked 82nd in the Henley Passport Index. Citizens of India can enter 58 foreign destinations visa-free. India had performed slightly better in this index last time and secured 81st position with 61 visa-free destinations.
On the other hand, Pakistan has performed very poorly in the passport index this time as well, like every time. Pakistan is ranked fifth from the bottom. Pakistan is ranked 100th in the list of 103 countries. Pakistani citizens can enter 33 countries visa-free.
Below Pakistan in the list are Yemen, Iraq, Syria and at the bottom is Afghanistan.
Top 5 countries
After Singapore, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain are at the second place in the list of powerful passports with 192 visa free travel destinations. Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea and Sweden are at the third place with 191 visa free travel destinations. Belgium, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and Britain are at the fourth place in the list with 190 visa free destinations. Australia and Portugal are at the fifth place with 189 visa free travel destinations.
