BSNL 5G Service: India’s 4G and 5G network is completely dominated by two private telecom companies Jio and Airtel. These two companies have recently made 4G mobile recharges expensive. After this, BSNL has suddenly entered. BSNL is trying to take advantage of this. This is the reason why the company has started exploring the possibilities of 5G along with 4G.
BSNL has 3G service today: Also, the government company is rapidly working on expanding its 4G network, while at the same time Jio and Airtel are offering 5G network. However, BSNL has got a great deal, which can transform the government telecom company. Actually, 5G service will be offered using the mobile tower of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited company. This is going to increase the tension of Jio and Airtel company. Also, mobile users are expected to get the facility of high speed data and calling at a low price.
First trial in these cities
A domestic telecom startup company is in talks with BSNL, which is preparing to provide 5G service using BSNL’s network. For this, the company has planned to start a trial service. This trial can start in one to three months. It will focus on non-public networks. Under this project, BSNL holding 700MHz band will be used initially. This 5G trial will be conducted at locations like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai.

BSNL will provide full support to the 5G trial. For this, the company is ready to provide spectrum, towers, batteries, power supply and other infrastructure. According to Voice of Indian Communication Technology Enterprises (VoICE), the company is ready to provide 5G trials for public use. VoICE has had a meeting with BSNL CMD in this matter.
What is VoICE
This is a group industry of indigenous telecom companies, which includes Tata Consultancy i.e. TCS, Tejas Network, VNL, United Telecom, Coral Telecom and HFCL. This group industry is going to conduct 5G trials using BSNL network.
