In fact, this important project has been given the green signal in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the information, this project provides for the construction of 8 high-speed road corridors of 936 km length, with an estimated cost of Rs 50,655 crore.
In fact, Union Information Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told in the press conference that the main goal of these projects is to ensure better connectivity across the country, make logistics more effective and reduce traffic congestion. At the same time, he also told that efforts will be made to link these projects to brownfield sites, so that land acquisition can be minimized and construction work can be completed faster.

At the same time, the government has tried to keep land acquisition for these projects to a minimum. For this, wherever land is already available, it will be used on priority. This policy will also reduce the cost and problems in land acquisition.
