UP NEET Counselling 2024: The registration window for Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2024 is going to open on August 20. Eligible students can apply for this till August 24 at upneet.gov.in. MBBS and BDS seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET UG 2024 merit list. Security fees have to be deposited for government and private colleges.
UP NEET Counselling 2024: Want to study MBBS and BDS with the help of NEET UG 2024 in Uttar Pradesh? If yes, then there is an important information for you. The counseling process for admission in medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh is starting from 20 August. This information has been given by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) of Uttar Pradesh. DMET has released the complete schedule regarding NEET UG 2024 counseling.
Interested and eligible students can apply online for NEET MBBS and BDS counseling from 20 August to 24 August with the help of DMET’s official website upneet.gov.in.
Remember, this counseling is only for students who are successful in NEET UG 2024. Admission will be given to 85% state quota seats in government medical colleges and MBBS and BDS seats in all private medical colleges on the basis of NEET UG 2024 merit list. UP NEET Counseling Fees: NEET counseling fees in UP
To be a part of NEET counseling, you will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000. This fee can be deposited online on the website upneet.gov.in. Apart from this, you will also have to deposit a security amount. This amount is different for different quotas:
- For government state quota seats: Rs 30,000
- For seats in private medical colleges: Rs 2,00,000
- For seats in private dental colleges: Rs 1,00,000
In this admission process, candidates from reserved categories, such as Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), will also have to submit their caste certificates. This certificate must have been issued on or after April 1, 2024.
