Employees Salary: In Uttar Pradesh, only those officers and employees who have given the details of their movable and immovable assets will receive their salary for the month of August. The state government has directed the department heads to pay the salary for August only to those who have given the details.
UP Employees Salary: The UP government has decided to withhold the August salary of officers and state employees who do not provide details of movable and immovable assets. In a government order issued by Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh on Tuesday, it has been said that only those who provide details of assets by August 31 will be paid salary.
The number of employees in the state is 17 lakh 88 thousand 429. Out of this, only about 26 percent have given the details online.
After IAS and PCS, the Yogi Adityanath government has made it mandatory for all categories of officers and employees to give online details of movable and immovable assets. In the government order issued by the Personnel Department, it was first made mandatory till June 30. It was said that those who do not give details of properties will not be promoted. Then the deadline was extended to July 31.
In the government order issued by the Chief Secretary on Tuesday, it has been said that the review of the Manav Sampada portal has revealed that despite clear instructions, not all employees have given details of properties. This is an unsatisfactory situation. The Chief Secretary has said that in the instructions sent to the heads of departments, it has been said that information about this will also be given to the Chief Secretary’s office. According to a senior officer of the Personnel Department, out of the total officers and employees registered on the Manav Sampada portal, only 26 percent have given the details. According to sources, promotions have also been stopped due to many employees not providing details of their assets. Such employees have submitted a representation to the Personnel Department.
Opportunity till 31 August
The process of submitting the details of the assets of the personnel on the Manav Sampada portal is being done for the first time, so in view of the initial difficulties, the last chance is being given till 31 August. It also said that some personnel have entered the details of the year 2024 instead of the year 2023, whereas it has to be given by 31 December 2024.
