According to the Meteorological Department, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Western Madhya Pradesh are going to receive very heavy rains for the next two to three days.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains will occur in East Madhya Pradesh on 25-26 August, Marathwada on 25 August, Vidarbha on 25, 30, 31 August, Konkan, Goa on 28-30 August, Madhya Maharashtra on 28 and 29 August, Chhattisgarh on 25, 29 and 31 August, Gujarat on 30 August, Saurashtra and Kutch on 31 August. Apart from this, if we talk about East and Northeast India, heavy rains will occur in Assam on 25 August, Arunachal Pradesh on 25 and 31 August, Jharkhand on 25, 27 and 28 August, Assam, Meghalaya on 26-28 August, Odisha on 26, 28 and 29 August, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 26-28 and 30 and 31 August. At the same time, an alert for very heavy rain has been issued in Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal on 25th August, Odisha and Jharkhand on 26th August.
For South India, the Meteorological Department has forecast that Kerala, Mahe will receive heavy rains on 25-31 August, Telangana on 25 and 29 August, North Interior Karnataka on 25, 26 and 31 August, South Interior Karnataka on 25, 29 and 30 August, Coastal Karnataka on 27-28 and 30 and 31 August.
For Northwest India, the Meteorological Department has said that Uttar Pradesh will receive heavy rains on 25 and 26 August, Uttarakhand on 25 and 27 August, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on 26-29 August, Himachal Pradesh on 27, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh on 27 and 28 August. Apart from this, there will be very heavy rains in Western Rajasthan on 25, 27, Eastern Rajasthan on 27 August.
