Vande Bharat Train: There is good news for passengers travelling from Lucknow to Meerut. Now they are going to get a high-speed train. The third Vande Bharat train passing through Moradabad division will soon be seen running on the tracks. Permission has been granted for its operation between Meerut and Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this train on August 31. The train will reach Lucknow via Hapur-Moradabad-Bareilly. It will be operated on the same route as Rajyarani Express.
After the information was released by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Railway Board, the divisional railway administration has started preparing for it. Many passengers will be able to experience the first journey for free. The railways will issue passes to some selected passengers. This train with chair car bogies will have general chair car and executive class tickets. This train will reach from Moradabad to Lucknow in five hours and Meerut in less than two hours. Rajyarani Express reaches Meerut from Moradabad in two and a half hours and Lucknow in five and a half hours. However, the railways have not yet decided the date for the regular operation of this train. Departmental experts say that within a week of inauguration, it will start running regularly. Fares will also be announced on September 1. The fare from Moradabad to Lucknow in Anand Vihar-Lucknow Vande Bharat is Rs 1050 in chair car and Rs 1865 in executive class.
Four Urs special trains will provide relief
Northern Railway will run four Urs special trains between Bareilly-Lucknow, Moradabad-Lucknow during Urs. 04370 Moradabad-Lucknow Urs special train will depart from Moradabad at 2:25 pm on August 30 and reach Lucknow at 7:40 pm. 04372 Lucknow-Moradabad Urs special will depart from Moradabad at 7 pm on August 31 and will reach Bareilly at 9:05 pm and Lucknow at 1 am. 04308 Bareilly-Lucknow Special will leave from Bareilly at 2 pm on August 30 and reach Lucknow at 5:55 pm and 04310 Bareilly-Lucknow Special train will leave from Bareilly on August 31 at 7:20 pm and reach Lucknow at 11:05 pm.
Another exam special train on 29th and 30th
During the constable recruitment exam, the railway administration will run an exam special train for two rounds on 29th and 30th August. Earlier, the railway has released the timetable of 13 exam special trains on different routes. 04520 Saharanpur-Lucknow Exam Special Train will leave Saharanpur at 6:20 pm and reach Lucknow at 2:55 pm.
