There will be heavy rain in these states
There is a danger of flood in some areas due to heavy rains on 28 and 29 August in Saurashtra and Kutch. At the same time, heavy rains are also expected in the northern coastal areas of the Eastern Ghats states – Telangana, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh between 30 August and 2 September. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen in these areas not to go to sea and has requested to be cautious in coastal areas.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a forecast of heavy rains in many states of North India. If IMD is to be believed, heavy rains are expected in the next few days, especially in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. IMD has also warned of strong winds and high waves in the sea from 28 to 30 August in the coastal areas of South Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch, due to which sea conditions can be dangerous.
UP weather: What will be the situation
Rain will continue in Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no alert of heavy rain anywhere in the state till September 2. On August 28, some parts of western UP may receive rain and thundershowers, while there is also a possibility of rain in eastern UP. On August 29, there may be rain with thunder in western UP, and light to moderate rain is likely in some places of eastern UP.
Low pressure area is forming
The Indian Meteorological Department has informed in the latest information that the intensity of rain may increase in the areas of Saurashtra and Kutch. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rain in some areas till August 29, which may also increase the risk of floods. Apart from this, a new low pressure area is likely to form in the northern and central parts of the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours, which may also cause heavy rain in the coastal states.
