BSNL is giving 50 thousand rupees per month and 35 lakh advance for installing a tower on the roof of the house?

BSNL 4G Tower Installation: A news is spreading rapidly that BSNL is installing towers and for this it is paying rent of up to 55 thousand rupees every month and advance of up to 35 lakh rupees. Let’s know what is the truth…

BSNL 4G Tower Installation Process: India’s government telecom company BSNL has given a warning to its customers. A fake website is using the name of BSNL. This website lies and promises people the work of installing BSNL towers. Its purpose is to deceive people into giving their personal and bank details. Let’s know about it in detail…

Fraud in the name of BSNL

This fake website, https://bsnltowerindia.com/page/about-us.html, has no connection with BSNL. BSNL has asked its customers to be careful and not get trapped in this fake website. This website is luring people to install towers and give many benefits. This website may ask for money or personal information in the name of installing 5G towers.

BSNL’s warning

BSNL took to social media platform X to warn people about a fake website. They shared a screenshot of that fake website and gave clear instructions to people to avoid it. Their message read: ‘Warning! Fake website: https://bsnltowerindia.com/page/about-us.html does not belong to BSNL. Be careful, be safe: Do not fall prey to fake websites. Double check before proceeding. For latest updates, please visit our official website http://bsnl.co.in.’

Packages also shown

The plans are mentioned below on this fake website. Three packages are mentioned in it. One rural package, second semi-urban package and third urban package. It talks about paying an advance of Rs 25 to 35 lakh and rent of Rs 25 to 55 thousand every month. But this is completely wrong.

How to identify whether it is a fake website or not?

Check the website address: Make sure the address begins with “https://” and that the website name is correct. Fraudsters often slightly modify the real website name.

Check for typing mistakes: Fake websites often have spelling mistakes or strange website names. Pay attention to any inconsistencies in the website content or address.

Website quality check: Websites with poor design, low resolution images, misaligned text, or frequent spelling mistakes are common.

Social media check: Companies have active profiles on social media. Check the website’s presence on platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
