School Holidays 2024: Good News! Schools will remain closed for these many more days, holiday announced

School Holiday 2024: In Rajasthan, all government and private schools across the state will remain closed on September 13 on the occasion of Ramdev Jayanti, Teja Dashami and Khejarli Martyr’s Day. There will be a holiday on September 16 on account of Eid-e-Milad.

School Holiday 2024: Due to continuous rain, holiday has been declared in all schools and Anganwadi centers in Seoni and Damoh today on Wednesday, while Gwalior Collector Ruchika Chauhan has declared holiday in Anganwadis and schools from nursery to class VIII on Thursday, September 12.

Manipur government has also declared holiday in all schools and colleges till September 12 due to deteriorating law and order in the state. Apart from this, schools will be closed on September 10 in Batala, Punjab due to the wedding anniversary of the first Patshahi Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Mata Sulakhni Ji. In Alwar district of Rajasthan also, the collector has declared a local holiday due to the fair on September 10 at Pandupol Hanuman Temple.

Many school holidays in September too

  • In September, 15, 22, and 29 September will be holidays due to Sunday, so schools in all states will remain closed.
  • 14 and 28 are the second and fourth Saturdays, so many schools will remain closed.
  • 16 September is Eid-e-Milad Barawafat, so there will be a public holiday.
  • In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, government schools will remain closed due to Jiutiya on 25 September, Durga Puja Saptami on 9 October, Diwali on 1 November and Chhath on 6 November.
  • In Bihar, holidays have been declared in schools on 17 September for Anant Chaturthi and 25 September for Jiutiya festival.
  • Vishwakarma Puja/Anant Chaturdashi is on 17 September (Tuesday), so there may be a holiday in some schools of Uttar Pradesh on this day too. However, this is a restricted holiday.
  • In Rajasthan, all government and private schools across the state will remain closed on September 13 on the occasion of Ramdev Jayanti, Teja Dashami and Khejadli Shaheed Diwas. There will be a holiday on September 16 on account of Eid-e-Milad.
  • In Banswara district, there will be a holiday on September 13 on account of Ramdev Jayanti Teja Dashami, second Saturday on September 14, Sunday on September 15 and Eid-e-Milad on September 16 and Anant Chaturdashi on September 17.
