To make women financially strong, the government has started a new scheme. This is the Subhadra Scheme, under which women will be given Rs 10,000 annually. This scheme was launched on the occasion of PM Narendra Modi on 17 September 2024, which is a special scheme for the women of Odisha (Odisha Govt Scheme). Under this scheme, Rs 10,000 will be given annually in two installments. Let us know when both these installments will be released.

When will the installment be released?
Rs 10,000 will be released to women in two installments. Under the Subhadra Yojana, the first installment of Rs 5,000 will be given on the day of Rakhi Purnima and the second installment of Rs 5,000 will be given on International Women’s Day i.e. March 8. This money will be sent directly to the bank accounts of women through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. As soon as the scheme was started, money has been deposited in the accounts of more than 10 lakh women.
Who can apply?
- Any woman who is a native of Odisha can apply for this scheme.
- The woman’s name must be added to the ration card under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS).
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, the woman’s family income should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh.
- Only women between 21 and 60 years of age can apply for this scheme.
What is the process of applying?
To apply online, you have to go to Subhadra portal. For offline application, you have to go to any Anganwadi center, service center, block office, urban local body office, common service center. Printed forms will be given here for free, which can be filled and submitted to the nearest common service center. After the form is submitted, the government will check it with its database. The form has to be filled with correct information, otherwise the form will be rejected after any mistake is found. No charge is taken for applying under this scheme.
How to apply online?
- First of all go to the official website subhadra.odisha.gov.in.
- Click on “Apply Now” on the home page.
- Fill in all the details in the form given there (name, email, phone number, and address).
- After this, upload all the required documents, such as Aadhaar card, birth certificate and photo.
- Fill in all the details correctly and click on the Submit button.
What documents are required?
To apply online through Subhadra Yojana portal, you will need Aadhar card, passport size photo, date of birth certificate, bank account details, address proof, caste certificate, residence certificate, mobile number and email address and signature.
