The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain in Goa, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Sikkim on September 26. Apart from this, an orange alert has been issued for Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal.
Heat and humidity continue to rage in entire North India including Delhi, UP, Bihar. Amidst all this, the Meteorological Department has given good news. According to the Meteorological Department, it will rain in most parts of the country in the next three days. There is also an alert of heavy rain in many states. In such a situation, it is believed that after heavy rains, cold may knock in many states.
The Meteorological Department said, there is a possibility of very heavy rain at different places in Goa, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Sikkim on September 26. Red alert has been issued due to rain in Goa, Sikkim. While orange alert has been issued for many parts of Gujarat and West Bengal.
Orange alert from Bihar, Assam to Arunachal
Apart from this, IMD has also issued an orange alert of rain in Saurashtra, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh. Orange alert of heavy rain will continue in Central India and North India, Jharkhand, Odisha on September 26.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains on September 27 in different parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Rain alert in UP, Uttarakhand and Jammu Kashmir too
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert of light to moderate rain has been issued for the next three days in Jammu Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
An alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Eastern Uttar Pradesh on 27 September. At the same time, heavy rains have been predicted in Uttarakhand on 26 and 27 September, in Western Uttar Pradesh on 27 September and in East Uttar Pradesh on 26, 27 and 28 September.
When will winter start?
In the states where alert of heavy to very heavy rains has been issued. The temperature will drop rapidly in those places. In such a situation, winter can be seen knocking in these states. However, winter may have to wait for now in entire North India including UP-Delhi. However, the weather is expected to be pleasant due to rain at different places.
