CBSE Board Exam 2025: CBSE Board has issued an important notice related to class 10th, 12th examination. Students who are going to appear for this exam should read these points given below carefully.
CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today issued a new directive to all affiliated schools, asking them to ensure that CCTV cameras are compulsorily installed in the examination hall. Class 10th and 12th board examinations will be conducted only in those rooms where CCTV facility is available. According to the notification of CBSE, if a school does not have this arrangement, then it will not be valid as an examination center. This policy will come into effect from the examinations of the year 2025.
CBSE informed that this year about 44 lakh students will appear in the board examinations of class 10th and 12th. To ensure fair and smooth conduct of examinations on such a large scale, the board has formulated a new CCTV policy. Under this, educational institutions have been instructed to install high-resolution cameras, so that the activities of the students and the examination material can be clearly monitored during the examination.
Under the policy, it will be mandatory to preserve the recording of the examination hall for at least two months after the release of class 10th and 12th results. To ensure that if the board needs to review any recording, it is easily available. Only authorized personnel will be able to access these recordings. The board has also directed that the cameras should have features like pan, tilt and zoom so that specific areas and students can be accurately monitored. However, the cost of installation and maintenance of these cameras will have to be borne by the schools themselves, no financial assistance will be given by the board.
Apart from this, CBSE has also asked the schools to ensure that parents and students are given full information about the purpose of this decision and their rights. Schools have been advised to share this information through orientation sessions, handbooks and notice boards. Along with this, it has been recommended to take feedback from students, staff and examination officials for improvement during the examinations. An officer will be appointed at each examination center to monitor 10 rooms or a maximum of 240 students, who will oversee the fair conduct of the examination.
