New Credit Card: Private Bank has launched a premium credit card, whose fee is only Rs 999.
ICICI Bank has launched a premium co-branded credit card (New Credit Card) in collaboration with MakeMyTrip. This credit card comes in two variants. One variant is of MasterCard and the other variant is of RuPay card.
Unlimited rewards on credit card
The RuPay version can also be linked to Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The bank said in a statement that MakeMyTrip, ICICI Bank Credit Card offers unlimited rewards, which will never end. Cardholders can earn 6% MyCash (MakeMyTrip’s reward currency) on hotel bookings, 3% MyCash on flights, holidays, cabs and buses and 1% on other retail purchases. One MyCash is equal to 1 rupee.
You will get the benefit of special discounts
Cardholders also get a complimentary MMTBLACK Gold membership, which gives special discounts and upgrades on flights, hotels and holiday packages. Members get at least a 10% discount on room and food costs at select hotels, a 20% discount on food and spa services, and a 25% discount on flight add-ons.
The card has a forex mark-up charge of 0.99% for international transactions. Customers can earn 1% MyCash on forex transactions. Apart from this, cardholders will also get access to eight domestic and one international airport lounge every year.
This is the only Credit Card Fees
The credit card costs Rs 999 plus GST, which includes joining and annual fees. On making the payment, the customer gets a MakeMyTrip gift voucher of Rs 1,000. Apart from this, if a cardholder spends Rs 3 lakh in a single year, the annual charge is waived off.
Rs 150 discount on movie tickets
A movie ticket purchase through BookMyShow and INOX also offers a discount of Rs 150. All MakeMyTrip transactions also offer no-cost EMI for three months.
