Banks will remain closed on Thursday 10 October due to Mahasaptami. Banks will remain closed in Tripura, Assam, Nagaland and Bengal on the 10th. Regular work will be done in banks everywhere else. Mahasaptami is celebrated on the fifth day of Durga Puja and is considered an important festival during Navratri.
