NPCI: Now ‘common man’ will save you from digital payment fraud, know how it will work

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has announced a partnership with Times of India (TOI). The partnership aims to spread awareness on digital payment security. The message will be conveyed through R.K. Laxman’s famous ‘common man’ character. The campaign will give people tips and advice for the security of digital transactions.

New Delhi: NPCI and Times of India have jointly launched a campaign to make digital payments secure. The campaign will use the ‘Common Man’ cartoon character created by R.K. Laxman. The aim of this campaign is to make people aware about digital payment fraud. The ‘Common Man’ character will be used for the campaign because it is easily understandable to people. The ‘Common Man’ has been a part of the lives of Indians for many years. Now he will become the face of digital payment security. This campaign represents millions of Indians who want to understand the world of digital payments. ‘Common Man’ will tell people in his humorous style how to avoid scams and how to make safe digital transactions.

What is the purpose of this initiative?
