The situation is even worse due to waterlogging on roads and residential areas. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of more rain in the next two-three days. At the same time, the weather has started changing in Delhi and North India as well.

The Meteorological Department said that there may be torrential rains from South West Bengal to South India. This cyclone can hit the coast between 24 and 26 October. The Meteorological Department said that India, Bangladesh and Myanmar are going to be affected the most by this.

At the same time, the condition of peninsular India is bad due to continuous rain. It is raining from Chennai to Bengaluru and from Pondicherry to Thiruvananthapuram. Life has been disrupted due to floods. People were forced to park their vehicles on flyovers. Heavy rains may occur in northern Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in the next 2 to 3 days.

Where did it rain in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, medium to heavy rains occurred in many areas of South India along with northern Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh. The Meteorological Department said that moderate to heavy rains were recorded in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka and parts of Andaman Nicobar Islands in the last 24 hours. Moderate rains occurred in many parts of the east coast as well as the west coast and the Gangetic plains of West Bengal. Rains were also seen in Northeast India and some parts of Jharkhand and Bihar.

Rain in the next 24 hours

The Meteorological Department said that during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rains may occur in northern Tamil Nadu, Royal Seema, Karnataka and Kerala. Light to moderate rains are likely in Kerala, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. Light rain is possible in Sikkim, Northeast India, parts of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Vidarbha and South Gujarat.

Alert for fishermen

The Meteorological Department said that the low pressure storm that originated in the Bay of Bengal has reached the Arabian Sea via the Indian landmass. Due to this, there is a stir in the Arabian Sea near the coast. The fishermen community has been advised not to go to the Arabian Sea for fishing or other activities.

Delhi weather

The weather in Delhi on Friday was shocking. People were in a very bad condition due to humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, on Friday, Delhi NCR recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees more than normal. At the same time, the humidity level during the day remained between 51 percent and 91 percent.
