Important Updates for Indian Applicants in US Visa Bulletin
In the latest bulletin, India’s final action cutoff date for the F4 visa category has been moved forward by a week to March 8, 2006. This visa facilitates sponsorship for immigration to the US to spouses, minor children and siblings of US citizens.

Family Sponsored Visa Category Update
The Visa Bulletin for November 2024 includes several adjustments in the family-sponsored visa categories for various countries including India, Mexico and the Philippines. Notable changes for Indian applicants in the family category are as follows-
F4 Category: Final Action Date is extended by one week to March 8, 2006 and Date of Filing is extended by 1.5 months to August 1, 2006.
Other family categories are also seeing changes, such as-
F1 category (relating to unmarried sons and daughters of US citizens): Mexico has been moved forward by 1 year and 10 months to November 22, 2004, while there is no change for the Philippines and other territories.
F2a category (relating to spouses and children of permanent residents): Mexico has been moved forward by 1.2 months to April 15, 2021, while other countries have been moved forward by 1.3 months to January 1, 2022.
F3 category (relating to married sons and daughters of US citizens): Mexico’s cut-off date has been moved forward by two months to October 22, 2000, while there is minimal change for India and other territories.
No change in employment based categories
No new activity has been seen in the employment based visa categories for the month of November-
EB-1: China remains at November 8, 2022 and India remains at February 1, 2022.
EB-2: Dates for China remain at March 22, 2020 and for India at July 15, 2012.
EB-3: Professionals and Skilled Workers dates remain at November 1, 2012 for India.
EB-5: Unreserved categories for China and India remain as they are now.
