NTA JEE Mains 2025 New Update: It will take some more time for the exam calendar of National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam-2025 to be released. But the schedule of Engineering Entrance Test JEE Main is likely to come by the end of this week. On the demand of the central government, the Supreme Court has given two more weeks to the committee working to reform the NTA to submit the report. In such a situation, information about the pattern and timing of the second exam of NTA will be available only after that. It will be difficult for NTA to postpone the schedule of JEE Main exam for more days now. JEE Main is held twice and the time has come to start the registration process for the first phase. At least one month is given for JEE Main registration.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Date
Sources say that the schedule for JEE Main can be released on 25th or 26th October. After the dates are released, online registration will start at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The first phase exam is to be held in January 2025 and the second phase exam in April.
At the same time, sources say that after the report of the NTA committee, it will be clear which exams will be in pen and paper mode and which exams will be computer based tests. Many questions were raised about the medical exam NEET to be held in pen and paper mode. But as far as the engineering exam JEE Main is concerned, this exam has been computer based from the beginning and this time too it will be a computer based test.
NTA has also given information about the changes in the pattern of JEE Main. JEE Main will be the first exam of NTA for the new session. Students will get about a month’s time for online registration. It is also decided that the registration process for all the exams of NTA will be online only. In JEE Mains, students will not get any choice in the questions. Students will have to answer all 75 questions.
When will the NTA Exam Calendar 2025 come?
During Covid, there was a delay in conducting the major entrance exams of the country including engineering-medical for about two years. After that, all the exams started coming on track from 2023. But in 2024, a controversy started regarding the irregularities in the medical exam NEET, which also reached the Parliament. After that, a high level committee was formed to reform the NTA. The exam calendar was released in September last year itself.
For this time, sources say that until the committee report comes and the situation regarding the exam pattern is not clear, it will be difficult to release the schedule of other exams.
