Uttarakhand Employees Salary Pension: There is good news for the government employees and pensioners of Uttarakhand. After MP, UP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, now the Pushkar Singh Dhami government of Uttarakhand has decided to give advance salary pension to the employees and pensioners. The Finance Department has issued orders to pay salary to the employees and pension to the pensioners on 30 October.
Uttarakhand Government Additional Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan has issued instructions in this regard to the heads of all departments, District Magistrate, Director Treasury Pension and Senior Treasury Officers, in which it has been clarified that due to Diwali on October 31, salary to all state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban and local bodies and work-affected employees and pensioners, family pensioners receiving pension from the state treasuries should be paid for the month of October before 30 October.
Will have to wait for bonus DA
Recently, a delegation of Uttarakhand Secretariat Association met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday, during which he requested for October salary before October 31, Diwali bonus to non-gazetted personnel up to 5400 grade pay and 3% increase in DA of state employees like central employees, to which he has given in-principle consent. It was being expected that a decision on DA bonus could be taken in the cabinet to be held on Wednesday, but it did not happen, that is, the employees will have to wait a little longer.
In the meeting, the personnel engaged on the basis of recruitment notification before October 2005 have also been assured of the benefit of OPS, however, the CM has also directed the Additional Chief Secretary Finance to take positive action on other demands of the association pending in the Finance Department and the demand to add the benefit of annual salary increment to the pension of the employees retiring on 30 June and 31 December.
