Census is going to be conducted in the country very soon and preparations have been started for it. Home Minister Amit Shah launched an app for registration of deaths and births from home. The name of this app is CRS (Civil Registration System). During the launch of this app, Amit Shah said, this application allows citizens to register at any time, from any place and in the official language of their state.
Home Minister Amit Shah today launched the Citizen Registration System (CRS) app at the Census Bhawan. Through this app, any common man can register birth and death from any place. With the help of the app, now this work of registration will be done easily from home. This app will prove to be effective in freeing the common man from visiting government offices and standing in long queues.
For this, it has been told from the official handle of Census India 2021 that registration of birth and death will be done easily through this app. According to the procedure, any person has to do the information and registration related to birth or death on the app within 21 days of birth or death.
According to the app, if you are not able to register within 21 days, then additional fee will have to be paid. For this, any common man of the country will have to pay a fee of Rs 2 within 22 to 30 days and a late fee of Rs 5 will have to be deposited from 31 days to one year. Along with this, a fee of Rs 10 has been fixed for older certificates, that is, the maximum late fee will be Rs 10.
On this occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah said that this application allows citizens to register at any time, from any place and in the official language of their state. This is making the registration of birth and death easy and hassle-free.
Preparations have been intensified to conduct the census in the country. Mobile applications will also be used to collect information in the census. He also said that for the first time the National Population Register (NPR) is going to be made. Which will improve the law and order of the country and will give a new path to the development of the country.
However, till now it has not been informed when the population count will start and what will be its format. Also, opposition parties are constantly demanding caste census, what action has the government taken on it, answers to all these questions have not been given yet.
