Jeevan Pramaan Patra is a biometric enabled digital life certificate for pensioners. It is very important for retired employees of Central Government, State Government and other Government institutions.
Pensioners Pension Life Certificate: There is news of work for lakhs of pensioners of the country. If you get pension under any pension scheme from the Central Government or State Government, then submit your life certificate by 30th November, otherwise your pension may get stuck or stopped from next month. However, later on submission of life certificate, the entire pension amount along with the outstanding amount comes into the account.
It has been made mandatory for pensioners to submit life certificate to get pension under the government scheme. Pensioners can submit life certificate both online and offline. Pensioners can submit it through Jeevan Pramaan Portal, through face authentication, through post payment bank, through designated officer sign and through door step banking.
What does the rule say
Under the rule, every pensioner between the age of 60 and 80 years has to submit his/her Jeevan Pramaan Patra or Life Certificate between 1st November and 30th November. The 80 year old super senior pensioner has to submit this certificate between 1st October and 30th November. Under the rule, the last date for submitting the Jeevan Pramaan Patra is 30th November. The pensioner who does not submit this certificate by this date will stop getting pension from December.

Through this certificate, the pension continues without any interruption. It is difficult for the elderly to go to the bank or pension department again and again, so the government has started the facility of Life Certificate.
How to submit from home using mobile
Department of Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) is providing facility to submit Jeevan Pramaan Patra through face authentication
First of all, pensioners should download and install ‘AadhaarFaceRD’ ‘Jeevan Praman Face App’ in their smartphone having 5MP or above camera.
Keep your Aadhaar number with you. Go to operator authentication and scan your face. Fill in the required information. Take a photo of yourself with the front camera of the phone and submit it.
You will get a link to download your Jeevan Pramaan Patra through SMS on your phone, you can download it and keep it with you.
You can also submit life certificate through these methods
Bank/Post Office: Go directly to the bank or post office and submit the life certificate.
Umang Mobile App: Submit digital life certificate with the help of Umang app.
Face Authentication: Life certificate can be easily submitted through face recognition system.
Jeevan Pramaan Portal: Submit certificate in digital form from online portal.
Door Step Banking: This service is available from home through the door step service of the bank.
Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate: Certificate can be submitted in digital form with the help of Aadhar card.
Postman Service: Life certificate can also be easily submitted with the help of postman.
Door Step Banking App: Download the Door Step Banking App and register through mobile number and enter OTP. Enter the PIN code and schedule timing, so that the bank officer can visit and a nominal fee will be deducted from your bank account. At the time fixed by the bank, the officer will come to your house and submit the life certificate.
