New Metro Timings: DMRC changed metro timings from 9 to 11 November, check immediately before travelling.

New Metro Timings: People who went to Bihar-UP to celebrate Chhath festival are now returning after celebrating the festival. Keeping this in mind, Delhi Metro has taken a big step for the convenience of the passengers. DMRC announced that metro services will start from New Delhi Metro Station (Yellow Line) from 5:15 am to 11 November and from Anand Vihar ISBT Metro Station from 5:30 am.

What did Delhi Metro say?

DMRC posted on social media platform X that this special service has been started with the aim of providing easy connectivity to the passengers arriving at New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations. He wrote in the post, ‘Delhi Metro is running additional trains in the morning from 9 to 11 November 2024 to serve the passengers returning to Delhi-NCR after Chhath Puja. Especially to provide connectivity to the passengers arriving at New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations.

Along with this, it said, ‘Metro train services are starting from New Delhi Metro Station (Yellow Line) at 05:15 am and Anand Vihar ISBT Metro Station at 5:30 am, while normal services start at 0545 am and 0604 am respectively. To ensure smooth and convenient travel, interchange facilities are available at all major interchange stations across the network.’

Special facility for trade fair too

Meanwhile, the International Trade Fair is also starting in Delhi. For the convenience of the people coming to this fair, DMRC has started a new facility, so that you will not have to stand in long queues at the ticket counter to go to the trade fair. DMRC has started making trade fair tickets available online in collaboration with ITPO i.e. India Trade Promotion Organization. With this, you will now be able to get tickets on the basis of QR code from your smartphone through DMRC’s ‘Delhi Sarathi’ and ‘Momentum 2.0’ app.
