75% attendance is mandatory to appear in 10th and 12th board exams
A few days ago, the Central Board of Secondary Education had issued a notice to its affiliated schools reminding them that 75% attendance is mandatory for students to appear in the 10th and 12th board exams. If a student’s attendance in school is less than 75%, he will be ineligible to appear in the board exams. CBSE has said in its guidelines that the board can give 25% relaxation in some cases such as medical emergency, participation in national games or any other serious reason etc. To get this relief, the student will have to show the relevant documents.
