New expressway: The new expressway will connect nearly 30 national highways, state highways and district roads, which will clearly benefit the development of these districts.
MP New Expressway: The biggest expressway and the longest road of the state is going to be built in Madhya Pradesh. This nearly 1200 km long road will pass through 11 districts of the state and about 31 thousand crore rupees will be spent on its construction. It has been named Narmada Expressway which will be about 4 times bigger than Yamuna Expressway. About 30 national highways, state highways and roads of districts will be connected to Narmada Expressway, which will clearly benefit the development of these districts.
It will pass through these 11 districts
The Narmada Expressway is being built from Amarkantak in Anuppur district to Alirajpur district. It will pass through Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani and Alirajpur. The special thing is that the state highways that are being connected to this expressway are currently two-lane, but they will also be widened in the future and will become four-lane. This will benefit the people of the cities and towns located around them. Its work is going on at a fast pace and it is expected that it will be completed by the scheduled time of 2026. A right of 100 meters is also being made on both sides of the road.
Will connect Gujarat-Chhattisgarh
The Narmada Expressway will connect the states of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. It will connect Alirajpur to Ahmedabad and Anuppur to Chhattisgarh. The construction of this expressway will promote tourism in both the states as well as Madhya Pradesh. People will be able to enjoy tourism in all three states in a short time. This will increase tourism in Omkareshwar, Amarkantak, Bhedaghat-Lametaghat. Along with this, investment opportunities will also increase.
